Our Story
Humble Homestead
My love of goats has always been present, but owning goats did not come to fruition until January 2020. After owning multiple different breeds and experimenting with making goat cheeses, I decided to switch my goat goals to raising Registered Nigerian Dwarf Goats. Early 2023 I began my first ever adventures with Registered goats. The Nigerian Dwarf size, personality, beauty and milkability quickly won me over. After an unquantifiable number of hours of research (and a few not so great purchases) I selected what I believe to be, a very promising foundation herd. Within the coming years I hope to help improve upon the Nigerian Dwarf breed by taking part in milk tests, CGS sanctioned shows, and classifications.
